Part-Time Retail Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

Simply Blessed is looking for someone with a passion for fashion and knowledge of social trends to join our team! This person will be able to provide outstanding customer service, generate sales, support the store management team, and help assist in creating social media content! 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets guests upon arriving in the shop with courtesy and genuine enthusiasm.

  • Ensures each customer receives outstanding service.

  • Maintains the cleanliness of the shop by returning items that aren’t purchased to the designated racks or shelves.

  • Create social media content that represents our brand, engages with customers and generates sales on our current social media platforms.

  • Responds to inquiries regarding the items being sold in the shop.

  • Aids customer in locating the specific items that they are looking for inside the store.

  • Aids in processing special orders for items that a customer wishes to procure, yet are not available inside the shop at the moment of the customer’s inquiry.

  • Actively persuades customers in buying the store items while maintaining a sense of delicacy and genuine concern for what the customer truly needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for retail and fashion

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends to meet the needs of the business

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Personable, genuine, enthusiastic, and positive

  • Able to multi-task

  • Social media knowledge 

  • Excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.

  • Comfortable being on camera

  • Emulate the brand aesthetic

  • Jack of all trades! Ready to learn and be open to new projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 pounds or more) from time to time as required.

  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

  • Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.

JOB DETAILS

  • Job Type: Part-Time (Pick-Up Shifts as Available)

  • Salary: $10/Hour
